SPARKL Limited designs and develops the SPARKL® Sequencing Engine technology in London, UK. We work with partners including Cisco and Intel to market the product to innovators and customers worldwide.
Meet the Team

Miklós Duma
Docs & Test Engineer
Miklós provides technical documentation and test software for SPARKL. He designed and produced the wonderful tutorials and examples in the SPARKL User Guide used by all us SPARKL junkies.
He has pioneered the use of SPARKL as a unit and system test framework, as well as using traditional tools such as Pytest.
He previously spent four years at KPMG as a Due Diligence Analyst. In his work on telecoms software documentation at Deftec he developed his knack of making complex stuff look simple.

Dr Andrew Farrell
Lead Software Engineer
Andrew develops SPARKL core and extension code, researches use cases and designs solutions using tools such as Ansible, blockchain, Prolog/CLP, Python and other SPARKL-friendly technology.
From his time at HP Labs in Bristol where he researched Cloud Computing, Andrew holds a special interest in security systems and blockchain-based technology.
He lives and works on South Island in New Zealand with his family, taking advantage of the excellent snowboarding and mountain-walking activities here.

Jacoby Thwaites
Software Engineer & CEO
Jacoby founded SPARKL in 2012. He starts everyday with a caffe latte and a croissant before moving onto coding or demonstrating SPARKL to customers and partners.
Jacoby founded his first business back in 1991, producing software and solutions for the London Insurance Market in the UK.
He co-founded web widgets mashup pioneer Teqlo Inc in California in 2006 with Dr Rafael Bracho, then joined Google where he built the Adsense Frontend engineering team in the UK between 2008 and 2011.
